Alright, I know a lot of you have been wondering about the results of the most recent election. So without further delay I will announce who made the board and who stepped up for various roles:
- Vinnie Castillo: Public Relations Director
- KC: Communication/Marketing Director
- Chris Brubeck: Maintenance Director
- Austin Montgomery: Secretary/Development Director
- Ryan Haunfelder: Treasurer
- John Jennings: Vice President
- John Boothe: President
It is worth noting that Vinnie was actually 8th in votes but Chad Johnson decided to withdraw his nomination so the candidate with the next most votes filled his place, which was Vinnie. Chad will retain his non-voting position as League Director.
We will have more details as to what else was discussed at the meeting coming to the website shortly. We want to stress the importance of participation in this club. The club meetings are always open to everyone. We also want to encourage anyone that wants to get involved to carve out a role for themselves, we always have positions that need to be filled. Our vision for this club is a "snowflake" model. Ideally we form a small committee to achieve certain tasks that include both board members and non board members. For example, if Vinnie decides he is going to run a St. Patties Day Meltdown, he would get a committee of 4 to 5 people together to help him run it so it doesn't all rest on his shoulder, and also because it will allow more people to get involved in the club.
